				| Brian,
I'd ordered two of your snake scale replicas from the RPF but as you had a thread here, just wanted to tell you and anyone interested in getting one of these, they look fantastic!

Thanks for the great work and fast shipping.

				| Now we just have to find a source for the accurate baggies with the 'hot stamped' edges to the zipper. I found a few in my parts bin holding small parts together, but they were all too small or had a hole punch in them for hanging on a rack. Maybe this is something I can replicate. A little sandpaper for wear and I think we are all in. | |

				| Thanks, good to know they found a good home!
I might have been able to find baggies that were more accurate, but nothing "in town" was 100% and looking online I didn't see anything better. Of course, I've seen plenty of bags like that in the past, just not the right size and design

				| Brian,
Thanks so much for the new HI-DEF scale! It's gorgeous! I've got something to send your way in appreciation. It's certainly off-topic, but you might find it interesting (no, it's neither alive nor dead nor runny...). My daughter liked hers - she's a big fan.

 Job well done,

 David

I'm glad you and your daughter like them

Just curious to why you chose this thread to pose this question in?

				| Thought I'd go ahead and post this for the archives...
An example of the microscope monitor (that identified the snake scale) is currently listed in the RPF junkyard:
 http://therpf.com/showthread.php?t=50163

The microscope monitor is a JVC TM-22 (or TM-22EG):
 http://www.mvsvideo.co.uk/equipment_infoTM22.htm

 And the screencaps...
Hard to see, but it looks like they may have removed the polarized plexiglass screen shield for filming.

				| My own two won monitors....
It's easy to get one for $50,00 or so.

Shipping costs are not low... beware...

				| I still get an occasional request for these so I posted a FS thread in the Prop Shop.
Plenty of both versions still available
