Birdie,
That is outstanding work. And just when I thought it couldn't get any better, you track down your own alien.
Congratulations and thanks for sharing.

Thanks for all the kind words guys, maybe now I can face up to the horrors of finishing my VK machine
BTW, thanks to Gregg, aka Droidboy on the RPF, for identifying that the phone cables on the tracker are in fact electrical conduit, will be doing that fix this weekend. |

Ooh, hadn't seen that
That's fantastic, and resolves some questions I had about the shape of my VK machine.
I love this place! |

Thanks Birdie...I just sold that prop to Propjonnyb and with the new pics given to us by Bwood and Nick he's going to take my VK as a base to modify and improve on the design to finally arrive at a product which will be very close to the original. Stay tuned |

"Motionless" I am...
(and I won't lie about your chances to survive this evil cat creature that lurks in your kitchen, but you have my sympathy !)

Bumping this as I am starting to build mine. This is my first post. I have started to move to the Alien film so we can have more items at our fan table. I have already pestered Gregg with some questions.
Thanks!

There is really no hidden bits to keep from the Ranger, though I do seem to recall using the original speaker for the soundboard.
I never found the correct nutplates, so mine were scratch-built. Unfortunately it was eight years ago now, so my recollections as how I came to calculate the number has faded. |
