My Fiancee and I rocked our Nostromo costumes at a con last weekend. Special thanks to jtparker and Mr. Rush for their help and supplies, this is something I've wanted to do for a long time. Here are some photos, we didn't manage to get any taken sans jackets. :/ There's always next time though.
Replacement crew. What's this hole in the floor from?

Wow! I haven't seen many photos of the decals applied. The whole outfits look great!
Must also thank Steve and Karl - they did all the research, I just cut the letters out.

Thanks guys. We were at Farpoint and for us it's more of a large social event where we get to see a lot of our friends and hang out at what happens to be a pretty cool regional convention.
What's funny JT is that we're also in the 501st, but rarely do anything Star Wars related at cons since we get many opportunities throughout the year to troop. Also, it's much harder to enjoy your adult beverages with a Stormtrooper helmet on. It was also nice to hear a lot of people saying they had never seen anyone do Alien costuming before.

I also got complimented by Adam Savage while getting his autograph.

Adam is a huge fan and I think he even wore his Nostromo shirt on an episode of Mythbusters.

Yeah, he did wear a Nostromo shirt in one episode. He looked at my shirt and said "that's not indy's shirt, where'd you get it?" Then I got to tell him that I made everything He was very nice, and I was happy to meet a fellow geek. He signed an autograph to my son, which was the only thing he wanted me to bring him from Dragoncon.

They're PF Flyers, the one you see the boot style sole on is not the stock sole One of my friends went gung-ho and attached some boot soles from another pair of shoes. They all have D-rings added to them.

No problem. Thanks for the compliments guys. If anyone needs any tips, etc drop me a line. I made patterns for everything too, pockets and so on to add to stock shirt & pants. If you're planning on making it at some point I'd be happy to knock off a set of patterns.
