So Im at a local gun store in Culver City yesterday checking out a FN SCAR and this old timer walks in and asks to speak to the manager. Manager comes out and the two start to talk business when I hear the old guy say that he was a Safariland rep for years.  I whip out my Iphone and google up an image of our favorite holster. When they finished I asked him if he recognized the pic on my phone. "Oh yes those were popular back in the 80's, long gone now, dont make them any more." I prodded him if he could find some or knew if any were hiding, no luck. I tried though.  |
