Gerber Mark II Knife

One of the best scenes in Aliens where Bishop shows off his skills with the Gerber Mark II knife:

Phil has a good section on his website about the knife. However, I see that although it was discontinued in 2000, that they have since started making the knife again in 2008 (according to Wikipedia).

Looks like this knife has a long history, starting in 1967. The screen-used knife had to be pre-1986.

Anyone know the exact model/year of the Aliens screen-used Gerber Mark II knife?

This knife was also part of Mad Maxs costume in the 1981 production of Mad Max 2.
I came across a guy on a MM forum that reproduces them in poly for a fraction of the cost of an increasingly hard to find original.
They also come with a movie accurate boot sheath. Heres mine.
