Thanks Fred, for the pic, but for some reason I don't believe Martin worked on those props. As you can see, many were real surgical tools and others were just created for the movie. A dentist friend of mine saw the pics yesterday and assured me that the two metal angled pieces are from a dental drill (didn't recognize the long tips at the end of these).
I'll post pics once I have a fair amount of the pieces I'll need. |

No prob, joberg !
I was just thinking about this possibility because of the 2 wiggets stuck on the side of the "yellow ray" tool...

Sorry guys, no time to do anything in terms of molding I just learned that Nick Alder made the medi-tools in Alien. I'm trying to finish the other one, but I'm running into some difficulties... |

Now that you mention this, it sounds logical since he also designed the flamethrower...

My source told me that the saw was really working (small RC motor) and that the blade of the saw was, in fact, the wheel of a pizza cutter , and as far as he knows, those props were scattered among some of the crew members as production came to a close. |

Thanks for the feedback guys! Well, one bad thing happened with the light; I plugged it with the wrong voltage and it burned out Didn't have another replacement...oh well.

Ash doesn't get angry, he is a robot, he just gets homicidal.

These are really great btw.
Not to nitpick or anything, but watching that scene where Ash cuts the finger on the facehugger, isn't there a metal piece on the back side of the laser cutter? Sort of like a guide for the cutting tip. Or was it a separate instrument being used in tandem?
