Finally, I've got these two nice pieces. A recast from original moulds, as the written letter said...
Anyway, are a very interesting toys to juggle with!

To Whom It May Concern:
This letter is to state some background information on the Blade Runner Tyrell building castings. The molds for both of these pieces came from Mr. Eric Stohl who had worked on films such as Armageddon, Broken Arrow, Total Recall, The Hudsucker Proxy, among other films. Mr. Stohl had worked with Mark Stetson at Stetson Visual Services p.n. a number of films and it was from Mark Stetson (Blade Runner 1982 Chief Model Maker) that Mr. Stohl had acquired these molds. Extra Blade Runner castings were also used by the effects crew to decorate many of the Mars buildings in the film Total Recall.
I personally worked with Mr. Stohl at mattel inc. between the years of 2000-2003. He had at the time brought into Mattel all of his castings and molds from his time with Mark Stetson. The 2 Blade Runner pieces you have purchased came from Eric Stohl's personal collection. We had intended on building a replica of the Tyrell Building with Spinner models and these parts were never used. They were painted and weathered very accurately to the real Tyrell miniature model made for the film Blade Runner.

Yeah, a nice technique.
Sizes:
big one: 368x130 mm
2nd one: 60x155 mm

That's a great find. Are you going to display it on some kind of illuminated base so the light shines through it?

A good idea.... Some lightbox or so will be nice. Perhaps a double lighting box, with optinal sources. One in the base, the other over the piece, to be able to see all the details.
But I'm not a master in this kind of things... will need some advice about... or go to appropiate store.

beautiful stuff Joan! Tyrell's Pyramid is probably one of the coolest props of all-time - such detail.
i understand it was mostly destroyed after catching on fire and also Ridley was keen on trashing everything so it didn't end up in another film.
we all know this didn't quite happen and there are some interesting pieces kicking around. i think i may have one - i picked it up here at the Summit from one of the gang - no COA or anything, but i had no reason to believe it wasn't.
thing is ... i saw your photos of your recast - specifically where it fit into the building. that made me very jealous as i would like to know where mine might have been (if it is the real deal). the last 2 photos you posted - especially the one with the fella working on the pyramid ... can you please tell me about these? are they in a publication? i can not seem to find good drawings or close-ups of the prop building to try to determine where my piece came from...

I agree. If I must decide between blaster or pyramid... or spinners.... well, the Tyrell pyramid is the one, no doubt!

I have no COA at all, only the companion letter. But... comparing the large piece with the picture you mentioned, I have enough.
I found these reference pics in the auction itself.... The B/W one probably are published in Future Noir (I must ehck it). I remember this picture, but I'm not sure the source. Perhaps the souvenir magazine.... mmmm.. must check all my printed stuff! I will collect all the pictures about pyramid I can find to share here and probably we will find correspondences between your piece, my second piece, etc.
Now, thinking about how to build an inexpensive shadow frame to put the pieces and build some lightbox...

Working in a shadow box.... but for now results are not so good... 
Diorama? jeje.... Maybe I decide to recast them.... who knows!!!
