The first 25 barrels are done and I should be getting the M3 x 6mm screws delivered this afternoon. If everyone if the first group wants to do that paypal thing Ill send them out tomorrow. As for the second group I cut the stock yesterday and I hope I can get them all done in the next 3 days.
Ill keep you posted.
-Michael
P.S. those in the second run please hold off on sending a payment. I want to make sure I can get them done before you send me your hard earned cash. |

These are very cool!
Would like to get one for Rich's upcoming kit, though would prefere to get the conformation that it will definately fit as I think the barrel on his last model might have been smaller than sids. so might wait until you get your kit and check it all out
Is it possible you will make more if they are sold out by then? _________________ "F*ck it, it's just a movie. Let him worry about it" Harrison Ford |

I agree with Beastmaster. I am purchasing the replacement barrel for Rich's kit and would like to wait until I have (or someone else) has the barrel in hand. |

The first handfull have been sent out. As a reminder this has been designed for Sid's version. Ill be redesigning it for Rich's as soon as I have the kit in hand. Based on what I know it should work just fine but if you need to be certain hold off for the time being.
Thanks!

I’m on holiday atm with the family so there will not be any more machining for a couple weeks. I may be sending out a couple more barrels but the remainder will go out some time after the beginning of the New Year.
In other news propsjonnyb has been kind enough to verify that the barrel will fit Rich's existing kit if the tang is removed. For those of you that want one this way please let me know as it’s easy to remove.
All the best.

Back in the office after the Xmas time off and the barrel was here waiting for me. I am speechless. If I was more of a technofetishist, I would "be in my bunk"...
I now need to find a couple of hours to retrofit my old Sidkit. I want to do a little more than just put in these new parts and I must dig out my printed instructions lest I make a fatal error!
Thanks again Michael, I look forward to your next pieces! |

I got my barrels and rods a couple of days ago and they are just beautiful.
Precise and beautifully finished.
If you're on the fence about this, jump

If you're on the second run list and it says "Completed" next to your name, does that mean your barrel is ready and you can send payment? |

Gang-
This is a rather important update for those of you waiting on the second run of barrels.
I’ve been meaning to post this for the last several days but its been a bit hectic. As of last Sat I’ve been in New Zealand. I work in visual FX, and the market has been quite bad in spite of all the money Hollywood has made this past year. I’ve been fortunate to land several gigs but this current one has me with the Kiwi’s for at least 2 months. I knew it was a possibility going into the holidays but as with these kind of opportunities they tend to evaporate just as fast as they appear. I wasn’t sure id be going so I didn’t want to jinx it buy posting it to you.
That being said I was able to get 6 of the second batch of barrels done and packaged prior to leaving. As you may have noticed I have posted completed next to the name of those that have been done and are ready to be paid for. I can have them mailed this Sat if you want to go ahead and Paypal.
For those of you I haven’t barrels for yet, I expect within a week or so post mid march if the timing works out to be able to ship them to you. Please let me know if you have any issues and so sorry for the delay but that work thing seems to interfere with what we often would prefer to do.
All the best.
