Im selling this nice MK3 jacket because it's a bit too small for me.
If you want to make a nostromo jacket this is a must.

Do you know what a size 5 would equate to in "suit jacket" size? _________________ I find your lack of faith disturbing. . . |

These jacket can be a little tricky as they are meant to be short and tight and worn with pressurepants.
Jacket label says Hight: 172-181cm. Chest: 86-96cm. But I would not recommed someone at 181cm with a chest 96 to climb into this jacket.
I found this chat below. And I Would say the jacket i a size 40 UK size, that means the same in US size
http://www.asknumbers.com/ClothingMensConversion.aspx
US - Canada UK Europe
30 30 40
32 32 42
34 34 44
36 36 46
38 38 48
40 40 50
42 42 52
44 44 54
46 46 56
48 48 58
50 50 60
52 52 62
I hope this can help you

Not that I am an expert on the subject, but I’ve owned a few of the MK3 jackets, so I’ll throw my 2 cents worth in. To me the biggest “problem” is the length (as mentioned) these jackets are exceptionally short. The main body of the jacket isn’t too bad, but the sleeves also seem short. I am 5’10” tall and have a 32” waist and a 42” chest, in general by western standards I am considered a size medium in most things. I had a size “5” MK3 jacket and it fit, but just barely and I ended up getting rid of it because the sleeves just felt too short. I ended up coming across a size “8” (which is the biggest they come in) and the length is much better, but it’s oversized around the torso… so it’s a give and take situation.
Hope that helps and good luck with the auction. |

Jon you are very right about the jackets beeing short.
It's also worth to consider which outfit you want. To me it looks like the Dallas is more short and tight than the jacket on Kane
. I think there is a groupphoto of the Nostromo crew where you can see this very clear.

Hi Ace, thanks for the PM. I'm 5'6 with a 34 waist. I think it will be perfect. I'm going for it!
