				| I don't chime in very often, but thoroughly appreciate and enjoy all the input here. Thank you all.
I wanted to ask if anyone has identified the font used on the Steyr receiver markings.

 Anyone know what it is?

 Cheers,

 Karl

				| I know a pretty famous (in his field) font developer...he works developing fonts for civilizations and cultures that do not have a written language. Anyway, I've used him in the past to ID fonts from props, etc. If someone can post a VERY CLEAR sample I can ask him to take a look.
However, I'd be surprised if someone here didn't already ID the font type and size.

				| At the time this gun was made, all fonts like this were custom made. today we only have interpretations of those pre digital versions. It looks like it was made to be similar to Vienna Secession style work. We might be able to find something close, but we would most likely need a font designer to make an accurate version. I wonder if Phil Steinschneider has worked on it or not?
