My Lucasfilm mates would be very impressed!

				| Oh that's great...
You were a respected member of this board but now you're proudly revealing your true identity : A twisted Star Wars robot !!!

Worse, you're proudly displaying your latest creation, a human made of cardboard and Grebblies... What a slap in everybody's face here...

Mods, I think this "guy" should be banned NOW !

 Fred

PS : I don't even want to comment the first photo, it should be sensored / removed asap...

				| Is that a pair of disposable razors I see on the butt?
I love found object prop building. Especially when it's done well like this. Not like those Jedi communicators from Episode I...*sigh*

				| Yep Fangorn, everything on that Walker is from found objects (list is toooo long to post here) razor blades at the back, head-piece of an electric shaver, pieces of a model bridge, inside of an electric tooth brush, various springs, drinking straws, piece of electronic components, computer inards, etc... The main round "eyes" on the head are from make-up lids my GF gave me (sacrificed...her words)

				| joberg! you rock sir!
not a big Star Wars fan - except for the first three. excuse my ignorance but isn't the Walker the same thing as an AT-AT? i remember i wanted the toy version so bad as kid - right after tESB came out. of course those bad boys were a small fortune and only the rich kids got one.

my dad got me the model kit instead...

i heard Lucas was inspired by the container cranes at the shipyards in San Francisco. i see them every weekend when i cross the Golden Gate Bridge and think about those AT-ATs every time...

thanks for the memories joberg - a kick-ass job indeed!
