Just got back from a local Meijer's Store (Ohio) and look what I picked up for $12.95. The head is metal as well as the base. I found this in the home decor section of the store.

				| Great find Thomas, looks far more expensive. If it was possible, i would think about extending the the basepole by around 4-6 inches

				| I will replace the metal base with a nice piece of wood, thinner but wider.

				| Looking expensive and yet...good find Thomas. There's also another Buddha head on top of the mantle ( Deck's bedroom) that looks like this:

				| I have been looking for a brass Buddha statue and Buddha head (fits in with my Firefly obsession too) for sometime but when I do find them locally they are always too expensive. I am very happy with this find. Heck, I may buy another.
