I just took possession of one of the last All Metal Sid kits....it's in two parts 1-grips/grip assembly and electronics (in a sealed bag) 2-everything else) purchased "unfinished" so it needs bluing painting and electronics installed....my old eyes and arthritic hands are not up to the task...
... I'm looking for someone who would be willing to built this to look "as new"..."as issued" if you will....
...is there anyone out there that has any interest in taking on this project?....is yes please PM with your interest and price....
...all help is gratefully accepted...
David

Did Sid number his kits? Is it the number on the outer grip frame, or are they all the same? Mine has a 021 on it.

....the two part (barrel receiver trigger guard assembly and the grip assembly and electronics) shipped from Italy that way to avoid the customs issue.....are currently in the possession of a gunsmith friend who is simply putting the blaster together UNFINISHED...bare metal...this way I will at least have it on display until some kind soul takes on the project of finishing it as a "newly issued" blaster.....
...I currently have a beautiful weathered Worldcon Sidkit along with a weathered Worldcon Coyle and just took possesion of a new (2009) "newly issued" Coyle....hence my willingness to WAIT on the completion of my second Sidkit.....this will give me FOUR all metal...two Worldcon versions and two "New" versions......I may be crazy but I damn sure know what I want.....
.....will look for the Sidkit number when I get it back....

Sid numbered his first metal kit run (at least to #200 which I have), but seemed to stop numbering them when he started the Worldcon run.

I requested #s 249 and 250 when he was doing the regular run thinking they would be the last 2 made, but then there was an update on his website that he was going to do 20 more, so I'm pretty sure they go up to at least 270.
