First post and I have something to offer!
I have been creating a replica of the map from Time Bandits for a couple months now and it's finally complete. I believe it to be very accurate to the screen-used map and it's printed using very high-end equipment. I am offering canvas prints of the map for sale. I have created a web page with full info and pics. Any questions or comments, let me know.

I like it!!!! If you dont mind, how long will you be offering these?
Thanks for sharing this!
Also, if you are looking at selling these, you might want to post about it in the prop shop here.
Thanks!

I haven't given any thought to a time frame. I'll just see how they sell and decide as I go.
Thanks for the tip about the shop, I'll look into it. New here as you can tell. |

Just finished weathering one of these maps and it turned out really well.
The canvas and ink are water-resistant, so weathering with liquids works great. I wouldn't recommend scrubbing it, but dabbing and blotting is fine. I used the usual mixture of sandpaper, coffee and tea to get the staining. |

That really looks fantastic! What happened to the right side of the map? I noticed on your link it has the clocks down the right. Though, if I remember, there was discussion about how some had it and others did not... _________________ www.propsummit.com

Good catch amish.
There were several props made for the film. The map(s) used during actual filming only had the clocks on the left side. As seen in this famous shot.
Then, during the opening and ending credits, we see a map with clocks on both left and right. My personal theory is that the maps made for filming took quite a beating and when the time came to film the credits sequence, they decided that they needed a new map. To that map they added the additional clocks on the right for symmetry. Of course, it's possible that all versions of the map had clocks on both sides and someone decided to cut them off during filming. We may never know. |

Good point Do you offer both as an option? Also, I am interested, just funds are tight for a bit with me right now.
I am hoping you will be offering these for a little while longer _________________ www.propsummit.com

The only version I sell has clocks left and right. If you want to replicate the map used during filming, you need an exacto knife and a metal ruler and you're good to go
I plan to keep offering these as long as they continue to sell. And if I don't have them on eBay, you can always buy direct. |
