Hello all,

My name is Joe and I've been a part-time lurker for a long time and am acquainted with quite a few of y'all from the RPF and other places. Ironic that this would be my first post. I am currently reevaluating my collection and planning to focus on a few key properties. So, despite this long having been one of my prize pieces I think it might be time to let it go. (There's a certain BSG helmet calling for me...)

First off, apologies for my lack of specific knowledge of the details of the PKD as I've always been more of a casual fan.

This is my all-metal SidKit (2006 -ish?) blaster, done up in heavily weathered worldcon style, built by me. It's got a real, correct (I assume) weaver side knob and the side opening so that you can see the barrel. The leds have not yet been installed, but that's a no-brainer to do. Front trigger is static but the rear one works, though it is a little "sticky" (a consequence of the soft metal I guess). Barrel swivels out and rotates. Cast-in screws have been replaced with real allen head screws. The front little "point" in the upper barrel retracts when you pull back the cocking lever.

I'm still quite attached to this piece and have put a fair amount of work into it.

Now on ebay...

Feel free to ask any questions you might have.

Thanks for looking!

Well, the blaster sold in just a couple hours! Unfortunately, the buyer was in Japan so I had to cancel the purchase.

I'm gonna take that as a sign... and keep it in my possession for a while longer.
