I just got the first sample back from the specialist printer today.
These look wicked.
I have decided to change some of the artwork on the back. I am adding Deckard's signature (loosly based on Harrison Ford's signature) to the signautre strip. I also positioned a line of text wrongly and it printed over the magnetic strip. Doh!
I am planning to do one run of 25. The gold print and some other details might make these a little more expensive than the apartment keys but I expect to keep them under £12 including international post.
Do you like the strapline? "Put the green back in your wallet."
A play on green back (dollar), green = greed, green = stupid (to pay their 36% interest rate!), green = colour of brand. Wallet of course, bening the things we've all been buying from Spinner44.com and others for years.
Thanks to Temponaut's help, I have added some authentic Japanese to the back. I also decided to put Deckard's signature on the signature strip. Since we never see his signature Ihad to create one for him. This is a blend of Ridley Scott's and Harrison Ford's signatures. Quite appropriate, I thought.
