I agree Fred but it woudnt be a complete set without it, someone
might want to do a "browncoat" replica.

Great work with the pins, I dont think we have a scale
 problem anymore, Thanks Fred.

With phoenixvader offering these same badges, i am not going to commit to producing any of these until i can get a price
 comparison, why bother?
Very roughly ,it will cost me around $350.00 Oz dollars to do the 1st run of a complete set of 5 badges, after that 1st run, a set would come down to around $60.00 Oz dollars a set.
If he can do better than that price it would be better to go with his.

				| Ive only just noticed this, are there two different size PK patches or is it just a perspective thing? If it is a seperate patch, the set number would have to go up to six.

And Fred, i think your idea of printing the pins is genius.
To have them reproduced professionaly would be a killer for detail
but also a killer on the cheque book, with your idea, anyone can produce their own for virtually the same effect. Bravo.

				| Cloisonette/Enamel pins are actually pretty cheap to manufacture and have small minimums.

				| I corrected the photo for perspective as best I could. I think the PK patches are the same size but one is rolled up a little.

				| Sorry guys, the two P1K patches were the same size - its the angle that the picture was taken.

Looking a tthis photo, I realized the proportions of my rough collar pin weren't good at all... But one thing I'm sure of is the height of that pin, so I've recalculated everything from that size... So the patches should be :

 COLLAR PIN : 25X29mm

ROUND "AIC" PATCH : 70mm in diameter

 "PK1" PATCH : 90X67mm

 "8479310" PATCH : 10X32mm

				| If it helps, here's an overall shot of the display case at Worldcon the first day... showing the PK patch in relation to the other items.

				| Thanks a lot for remending me this photo, Karl !
I've compared the sizes of the PK1 and the REP-DETECT patches, then measured the length of REP-DETECT I own and I think we should reduce the sizes by 1,04% to be more accurate... Then we would have :

 COLLAR PIN : 24X28mm

ROUND "AIC" PATCH : 67mm in diameter

 "PK1" PATCH : 86X64mm

 "8479310" PATCH : 96X30mm

Do you think it's worth it or not ??? (BTW, we still need to determine the exact size of the Triangular "D6B" patch)

 Fred

				| Thanks Tim !
Here are the "6DB" patch measurements, I've determined them from my Sinisalo armor...

Regarding the collar pins, I think I will go back to my first measurements because I've realized the screensued photo shows it 100% frontal (this is due to the pin on back, it's logical), although all the patches are deformed by perspective...

So I think the final measurements would be :

 COLLAR PIN : 27 X 33mm

ROUND "AIC" PATCH : 67mm in diameter

 "PK1" PATCH : 86 X 64mm

 "8479310" PATCH : 96 X 30mm

 "172086F" PATCH : 96 X 30mm

 "6DB" PATCH : 116mm X 95 mm X 65mm

				| Here is a pic of the patches i had made for O.B. If this patch run goes ahead this will be their standard. Ive submitted
all the artwork and Freds superb measurements and the guy said he will call me next week with a cost for the first set of 5 patches and subsequent runs...

				| Thanks Paul, the large G in the background is actually darker than it appears in the pic adding further to its realism. Glad to hear it Andy.

				| Cool! That was my next question. Thanks for everything here Tim, you have done an outstanding job and I need to order more of these from you as soon as possible!
Who knows? I may even want to get in on the Cop Patches as well, is there still time to sign up?
