Speaking as someone who has fallen on hard times and cannot yet afford to get a kit (or 2) from Rick, I'd LOVE to see what everyone else is doing with them. Birdies build up was awesome, so please, let me live vicariously through you. POST YOUR BUILD UPS!!

Noeland -
I've moved this to the main BR prop discussion area as it's more relevant here than in the Prop Shop. _________________ Pete |

OK.
John, did you do that "weathering" yourself? How on earth did you get that effect? |

My SNUB is still in pieces. I've wet sanded everything, fit the grips, and made a coupe minor alterations to suit my tastes. Its ready to be primed, but the cold weather is unrelenting. I need to build a small paint box over the weekend so I can finish it. _________________ Wait; I'm having one of those things! You know; a headache with pictures? |

I know what you mean about the weather. I have at least 3 kits ready to be primed but can't because of the weather. I n the meantime i just keep looking for inspiration and Ideas. |

My current cheat is as follows; I wait for the temp to go over 50 degrees F. I spray, then monitor the temp. Once it starts to cool off I bring the items inside, and put them in my bathroom and turn on the vent. I crack the window in the bathroom slightly for some replacement air, but not enough to make the room cold. This gives the stuff a chance to cure. I'm going to make a mini spray booth for indoor spraying and toss the gun in the loo to dry. _________________ Wait; I'm having one of those things! You know; a headache with pictures? |

Mine are in process, I just have not worked on them for a few weeks... to many real world obligations. I am taking monday off so I might be able to work on them a little bit. I have both the Magnum and the Snub.
