				|
 |
				| I got the ball rolling on the BR Whiskey Bottle by putting it out there that I intended to get it created. I was then approached by many talented people who facilitated that end goal. I'm not jumping in straight-a-way here but it's certainly a possibility if a number of things happen first...I'll get to that a little later.
First off I'd like to hear about interest...so here's mine:

The bottle would have to sell for around $50.00 to make it affordable for everyone. This opens a hole can of worms however with finding a bottler who is willing to do a small run and cheaply and pass the saving on.
 Input is welcome!

				| I'm not going to say it would be a simple process, since I haven't gone through the process of creating a bottle myself.
However, since the Tsing Tao Bottle bottle has been positively identified as a Smirnoff de Czar bottle, it seems that making copies of it would not be as difficult as creating one from scratch (like the JW bottle).

Put me down for one, please!

				| I'd be definately interested in one of these. How about the labels etc? Has anyone actually made up their smirnoff de czar bottle into a tsing tsao based replica? | |

				| Hey guy's...I appreciate your enthusiasm and I hate to be the bearer of bad tidings, but my "intent" with this thread was in hopes that someone else would be willing to step up and get the ball rolling on this one, not to start another "Interest list". Sorry for any confusion!

				| Hey OB...
I'd be interested in giving it a go if you are willing to share some of the contacts you have made.... Having already produced a toy I feel like this is mainly a change of subject matter.

I have been longing for this bottle myself and have had a very hard time relieving myself of the typical 300 bucks!

My only concern with this one will be the difficulty in the mold design (all the ridges) driving the cost of this one up... Of course, even at a hundred bucks it would be WAY cheaper than getting one on eBay.

I already have a good connection for creating the labels (good friend owns a printing company) and I believe the same company i did the toy through could do the caps...

Once you get the JW bottles out and I can see the quality of the glass there we can decide if thats who we want to use again... You had an OK experience with them right?

Anyway, I'm pretty interested either way.. Maybe get with me off the board and we can get a phone call going or something to discuss details....

 Cheers,
 David

				| Paul,
Just in case you'd need a really good calligrapher to provide a model for the signs on this one, I know a very talented one ! She's a close friend currently living in Japan, perfecting her art with japanese masters (they've accepted her because she's already got a masters in calligraphy from the "arts Deco" school in Paris... and also because she speaks japanese fluently). She moved in Tokyo 2 years ago and will stay there for 1 or 2 more years...

If interested, let me know and I'll do my best to help you get in touch with her.

 Fred
